So our plans on Saturday night were a bust. After standing in line to get in, the staff at Blue Pearl finally informed us that Ron Jeremy was fogged in, in New Jersey :( It was nice of them to let us know far enough ahead of time, so we could make other plans *Sarcasm*. At least we got a good dinner out of it, and a few games of pool over on Craigflower. Randy and April went undefeated, as Dan and I scratched THREE TIMES on the eight ball. Our finest moment was when Dan, in a fit over my playing style, sent the cue ball flying off the table, and missed the eight-ball altogether.
Isn't summer great :)
The kids spent the night at my Mom's house, and did really well. Teresa apparently had 4 pancakes for breakfast and a bowl of strawberries. Liam played with the Thomas train set for most of the time there :)
The joint birthday party for Liam and Jacob at McDonald's went really well. The kids had a blast playing in the tube-town...as did some of the parents, and we brought everybody back to the big-backyard common area here for present opening. Dan's Grandparents, Sylvia and Mike, and Aunt Joanne stopped by for a visit as well. Joanne really made the party special and we really need to thank her for it! Joanne is a licenced clown in California, she brought her balloons and spent most of the time making balloon hats and swords for the kids...You should she the motorcycles, cars, kittens with beaded collars and flowers that she can make...needless to say, the party was a success :)
Price-wise, I was impressed. 10 kids, happy meals, goodie bags, and a cake all came to $42.82. That's before splitting the costs with Jacob's parents (Bridgette and Jean-Marc). Now if I was to do that same party at home it would have been way more expensive!

Just talked to Dan...we game tomorrow night? Everybody cool with that?
