Kathmandu Adventure
After a long day of working in the upper kindergarten classroom and then comming home to homework (goal setting, my least favorite), attending a seminar on social justice and a short shop around Samakoshi (our neighborhood) for prizes for the kids at school...Steph, Isha and I took a cab to Themal to pick up Garrets camera from the repair shop there. Except that the cab let us off at the wrong spot, so we had to walk for 20 minutes through several strange areas to find the place! When we finally found it, Garret went into this dark building and we waited outside for him for a half hour. We entertained ourselves by taking pictures of anatomically correct baby dolls and inventing a new version of "punch buggy" except it was "punch buggy, white people" not very politically correct, I know, but we were so shocked to see other caucasians again and to come to the realization that we hadn't in a long time. So naturally we started hitting each other in celebration. We're real mature. Poor Steph will have bruises.
